One-time Donation
Donations can be made by e-transfer, credit card or by mail. All donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt.
Monthly Donation
Consider supporting RWLT by joining the RWLT Sustainer Circle with a monthly donation! Through a monthly sustaining gift, you help create a continuous base of support to protect land and habitats in your community year-round.
Annual Donation
Annual donations are a great way to work within a budget and plan ahead for tax time. Many of our supporters choose to schedule a recurring year-end donation.
Planned Giving
Planned Giving means a gift made from your savings versus Annual Giving which is a gift made from your income. With this definition a planned gift can be made during your lifetime or it can be made through your estate. This can include lands, property, securities, bequests, or insurance policies.
Ecological Gifts
Canada’s Ecological Gifts Program provides a way for Canadians with ecologically sensitive land to protect nature and leave a legacy for future generations. Made possible by the terms of the Income Tax Act of Canada and the Quebec Taxation Act, it offers significant tax benefits to landowners who donate land or a partial interest in land to a qualified recipient.
American Friends
For our US supporters, the RWLT will work with you, your financial planner, and the American Friends of Canadian Conservation to ensure your gift will go to work in your adopted Rideau community while generating tax credits that can be applied to your US income tax.
